Feeding Guidelines
Transitioning your pet onto Farmers Mate?
We acknowledge all dog’s are different
We understand that all pets dietary requirements vary and some have very special and or specific needs.
This is why we advise the below feeding guideline may vary based on your dog’s breed, activity level and age.
The daily amounts detailed are based on feeding Farmers Mate for Pets fresh rolls exclusively.
Should your dog require a specialty diet, we recommend consulting with your preferred veterinary professional for further advice.
Because when it comes to the health and wellbeing of your fur pal, we’re barking up the right tree!

Introduction tips to your pet’s diet
Here at Farmers Mate for Pets we encourage where possible mixed or hybrid feeding.
You can mix our rolls to provide variety in your pooches diet or add other dog friendly nutritional foods.
Want to give them something extra special to tantalise their tastebuds?  Add some warm water to the combo – it will create a bone-brothy canine culinary experience that will have your pooch’s tail wagging every time.
Vet Review – Dr. Claire Wade Wade Veterinary Services
I highly recommend Farmers Mate for Pets to my clients with dogs recovering from injury & surgery or when managing arthritis.
The bone-broth base seems to assist with tissue repair along with overall health.
My recommendations began after I noticed significant improvements in my own old dog’s mobility after just a few days on Farmer’s Mate.
Now all my dogs are on it daily.
Your dog’s wellbeing is serious business
We’re here to help your furry friend live healthier, happier and stay by your side for longer. We craft our rolls using human-grade meats, fresh veggies & fruits, homemade bone broth and nutrient-rich seeds. Â Slowly steamed to lock in essential nutrients, NO ultra processing practices done here.
Proudly manufactured & packaged in a certified HACCP facility under strict Safe Food regulations. We’re licensed by PrimeSafe as a Pet Food Establishment (#PF0323), ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
Our recipes are formulated to meet the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for Adult Maintenance. That’s why you’ll find a bit of beef in the chicken roll and a touch of chicken in the beef – it’s all about reaching the ultimate nutrition goals for your pooch’s needs.
